Sikandar Hayat

Sikandar Hayat has been with Biggs Cardosa since 2005. He has over 30 years of experience in structural design and construction of buildings, bridges, transportation, and other facilities. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Structural Engineering & Construction Management from University of California Berkeley. He also has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Sikandar oversees Biggs Cardosa’s San Francisco office. He is responsible for the design of various multimillion dollar projects for both for public and private sector clients. His expertise includes: project/contract management, structural condition and seismic assessments, structural analysis and design, preparation of construction documents, engineering feasibility studies, QA/QC, peer reviews, constructability reviews, value engineering, and construction management.
